Eleven ways to make $2,000 in 30 days, checked against what people already ask for on Reddit, what they search for, and who is verifiably getting paid. Five survive. One starts tomorrow.
The verdict
It's the only idea she can sell by hand within 48 hours through the channels she named. Reddit's dating subs produce more review requests than anything else in this research (r/Tinder alone: 1.55M weekly active users, with review posts drawing 98–465 comments). It needs zero building, each order takes about 30 minutes, and it's the purest use of what people already come to her for: honest, funny, tasteful advice.
Founding price $29 for the first 10, then $49, plus a $99 Full Fix.
Brutal caveat: the proof of money is thinner than for color analysis. The closest verified comparable (Datemaxx, Hinge reviews) made $136 in 30 days, and TinderProfile.ai made $1,749. $2k means about 41 orders at $49 from a standing start. The $700 floor (15 orders) is realistic. $2k is a stretch unless a piece of content pops. If she has fewer than 10 paid orders after 14 days, she should switch to color analysis: same before/after content engine, a higher ticket, and 27,100 monthly searches for “color analysis near me”.
544 unique posts, 13 comment threads read, rules of 21 subreddits checked.
Volume and difficulty via AEO Trace, plus live Google results for 6 buyer terms.
Revenue verified through Stripe, RevenueCat and others. No screenshots.
Proof of money and speed to first dollar count double. Max score 40.

New idea from the research
A woman's honest take on your Hinge
Men send screenshots of their Hinge, Tinder or Bumble profile. Lynn sends back a brutally honest, funny teardown: which photos to cut, the new photo order, rewritten prompts, and a shot list for the photos they're missing.
Men 22–40 getting few or no likes: the people posting “is it my photos?” on r/Tinder, r/hingeapp and r/MenAskWomen. Second audience: women re-entering dating (a 30F review request on r/Tinder drew 160 comments).
$49 teardown (designed PDF + 5-min voice note, 24h). $99 Full Fix (adds prompts rewritten in their voice, a photo shot list, and a re-check after changes). First 10 at $29.
Human reviews anchor low: RMH says text reviews typically run $20–40. The AI comparable TinderProfile.ai sells $14–39 packages.

Build the kit: a Tally form (screenshots + “what are you looking for?”), a Stripe Payment Link, and a Canva teardown template so every delivery looks designed. That's her edge over text-only reviewers.
Do 5 free teardowns for friends-of-friends. Ask each one for permission to share an anonymized before/after and a one-line testimonial.
Reddit, value first: leave 10 genuinely useful public reviews on r/Tinder and r/hingeapp review posts. No links, no “DM me” (r/hingeapp rule 7 bans self-promotion). Put the offer in her Reddit profile.
Write “I reviewed 10 men's Hinge profiles: the 5 mistakes” as a Reddit post. That format ranks #1 on Google for “hinge profile review”. Post a teardown on X and IG/TikTok with her hook system (“Your first photo is why she swiped left”).
Open 10 founding spots at $29 on X and her socials. Deliver within 24h and ask every buyer for their match numbers 7 days later.
Turn the best anonymized teardown into a carousel and a reel. Add the $99 Full Fix tier.
Move the core price to $49. At 5 or more paid orders, keep going. Under 5, change the hook and positioning, not the product.
Lynn's idea #4
Your season, and how to actually wear it
Daylight selfies and a 5-minute at-home drape test go in. Out comes her season, a 30-color palette, and a visual guide to actually wearing it: clothes, makeup, hair, metals, and what to stop buying.
Women 20–45 who are stuck between seasons after free quizzes and priced out of $250–550 in-person sessions.
$79. The first 10 clients pay $49 (founding price) to build a before/after portfolio.
Human virtual analysts charge $99–180 and in-person sessions run $250–550. AI apps start at $19, so $79 sits between the two.

Design the deliverable in Canva: a season page, a 30-swatch palette, a “wear / avoid” outfit board, makeup, hair and metals, and a shopping cheat-sheet. This is the differentiator, because buyers ask whether analysis was “actually useful” after the session.
Write the photo protocol: daylight by a window, no makeup, white vs black top, gold vs silver. Apps fail on lighting, so she should control the input.
Analyze 5 friends for free. Shoot “wrong color vs right color” side-by-sides, with permission.
Launch with a Tally form and a Stripe link: 10 founding spots at $49. Post the side-by-sides as reels/TikToks using her hook system. This audience lives on TikTok, IG and Pinterest more than X.
Reddit, carefully: r/coloranalysis bans ads, DMs and sharing socials (permanent ban plus a public “creep list”). Only post genuinely good answers on “what season am I?” threads to build a name. If she wants Reddit sales, test about $50 of Reddit Ads aimed at beauty and fashion audiences.
Deliver within 48h. Ask each client for an outfit photo in their palette.
Raise the price to $79 and add a $29 makeup-shade add-on.
Lynn's idea #1
5 reels you can film this week
A small business shows its product. Lynn sends back 5 reel concepts from her system, each with the hook, the format, a 6-shot list, on-screen text and a CTA, ready to film on a phone this week.
Small business owners (bakeries, salons, jewelry, coaches) who know they “should post reels” but don't know what to film, and creators who need a steady supply of ideas.
$99 for 5 concepts (founding $49). Then $199/month for 10 concepts a month once someone buys twice.
Verified comparables are AI tools at $19–149/month (Reelyze, CreatorHouse). A human-made, product-specific pack is a different, premium shelf, which is still untested.

Turn her system into a one-page Canva “concept card”: hook, format, shots 1–6, on-screen text, audio, CTA.
Post “drop your business, I'll send you a reel concept” where it's allowed: r/smallbusiness's weekly promote thread, r/SocialMediaMarketing's service thread, r/CreatorServices, and X.
Deliver 15–20 single free concepts publicly. Each one ends with “Want the full 5-pack? $49 for the first 10.”
Put up a simple Carrd or Notion page with 3 sample concept cards and a Stripe link.
Pitch 5 local businesses she already knows. Offer to sit in on one shoot.
Post one client's filmed concept (with permission) as proof.
Move to $99 and offer the $199/month repeat plan to anyone who bought.
New idea from the research
One plan instead of 400 TikToks
Selfies, goals and budget go in. Out comes a personal glow-up plan: her colors, the haircut for her face shape, one everyday makeup look, and 3 style moves, ranked by impact and cost.
Women 25–40 with money to spend who are overwhelmed by TikTok advice: “I'd love to just hire an expert whose job is to sift through everything and just tell me what to do.”
$129 (founding $79 for the first 5).
No human glow-up consultant was found with verified revenue. The money proof is apps (Dailyglowup, FaceKit) growing on paid ads.

Do 3 free plans for friends and book their 2-week before/after photos now.

Deliver within 72h, with one async voice-note check-in and no calls.

Raise to $129. If color is clearly the part people value, fold this into the color analysis offer as a premium tier.

Look like a real brand by Friday
A new small business or creator sends their vibe and 3 brands they love. They get back a palette, a font pairing, a simple wordmark, and 10 editable Canva templates (posts, stories, highlight covers).
People launching something who are asking “where do I start with branding?” on r/branding and r/smallbusiness.
$149 (founding $99). Later, sell the templates on their own as a $19–29 pack.
The verified money is in cheap templates (Coaching Marketing Kit sells $14 Canva templates) and AI brand tools ($24/mo BRANDISEER).

Write a no-call intake questionnaire: vibe words, 3 brands, audience, must-avoids.
Post the sample kits on X and IG. Offer 5 founding kits at $99.
Post in r/smallbusiness's weekly promote thread and on r/CreatorServices.

The kill list
No proof of money, and the core community is hostile. No Kibbe business turned up on TrustMRR, r/Kibbe banned “type me” posts, and its top comments say you can't type from photos. The 49,500 monthly searches for “kibbe body types” are better spent as free content that feeds color analysis.
People expect it free. Google's page 1 for “instagram audit” is all free tools, free audits are common on r/InstagramMarketing (which bans self-promotion), and no comparable shows verified revenue. It's also a landing-page roast for Instagram.
An oversupplied race to the bottom. One $30–50 reel-editing job on r/VideoEditors_forhire drew 110 comments, and Lynn isn't an editor.
Curiosity, not buyers. “What makes a reel go viral?” threads get 40+ comments, but people expect free answers. Search is near zero (“how to make a reel go viral” 70/mo), and the best verified comparable (Reelyze) made $647 in 30 days. Keep it as a free lead magnet for the reel concept packs.
No buyer signal. The “too many ideas” posts come from writers, not people with budgets, and there's no verified comparable on TrustMRR. Fold it into the reel concept intake form instead.
Fails both the 7-day test and the credibility test. It needs a built course or game, Lynn isn't technical, the search terms are hard (“ai course for beginners” KD 46, “learn ai for beginners” KD 50), and the closest verified comparable made $480 in 30 days.
Already rejected by Lynn before this research. Not re-tested.
Reality check
The subs with the loudest demand mostly ban selling. Win there by being visibly useful in public, put the offer in her profile, and sell through her own content.
| Subreddit | Weekly active | What the rules say | Selling |
|---|---|---|---|
| r/Tinder | 1,552,948 | Profile-review posts are normal here and huge. No self-promotion rule turned up in its rules text, but Reddit-wide spam rules still apply. | Allowed |
| r/hingeapp | 229,839 | Rule 7: no self-promotion. Rule 14: reviews must be your own writing, and no promoting AI tools. | Banned |
| r/DatingProfileHelp | 2,129 | No promo posts, but “helpful tool mentions in comments are fine”. | Limited |
| r/coloranalysis | 120,800 | Rule 10: no advertising (permanent ban). Rule 11: no DMs and no sharing socials (ban plus public “creep list”). | Banned |
| r/DressForYourBody | 297,726 | Same rules: no ads, no DMs, no sharing socials. | Banned |
| r/lookyourbest | 499,019 | Posters with promotional content in their profile can't post. | Banned |
| r/InstagramMarketing | 137,713 | Rule 5: no self-promotion or “pm me for a service”. | Banned |
| r/smallbusiness | 322,721 | Promotion only in the weekly Promote-your-business thread. | Limited |
| r/SocialMediaMarketing | 58,140 | Service ads only in the designated thread. | Limited |
| r/CreatorServices | 4,586 | Built for creators hiring services. Offers allowed with correct flair. | Allowed |
And X? Across 3 searches, English “color analysis” posts were mostly app makers promoting their own tools. Dating-profile requests exist but get little reach. “Content ideas” is crowded with founders launching AI content tools. X is a channel she'd have to build, not a pool of buyers already waiting.

TRUSTMRR_API_KEY is not set and no TrustMRR MCP is connected, so the authenticated API (filters, search, pagination) was unavailable. I used the public llms.txt, category and channel pages, and per-startup .md pages. Category pages only show the top ~30 by total revenue, so small comparables were found with about 20 site:trustmrr.com web searches, and each was verified on its .md page (59 pages fetched).Full report with every link: ideas-report.md · Reddit via Scrape Creators · Search via AEO Trace (DataForSEO) · Revenue via TrustMRR · X via API Direct.
